Not Exactly a Sink

Tarzan always liked to have little drinkies in the tub.
But, look at these kitties!

Good Thing I Took Transit

On Thursday afternoon I went for a haircut on 17th Street near where there F-Market streetcar line ends in The Castro. There's a Chevron station across the street at 17th / Market / Castro.

It's a good thing I took transit! But, is it? Muni is increasing its fares, too. Ok, I can understand that Muni must cover expenses (even though they still can't run on time). What bugs me is that token prices will be $15.00 for ten tokens.

$15.00/10 = $1.50 per ride = no discount

So where's the discount for buying tokens? Why not just get rid of them? Sadly, that is was the only discount program available for those who take transit often enough to warrant a discount but not frequently enough for a Fast Pass.

HAIRrison Street Fair

David and I paid a visit to the Hairisson Street Fair today. It's a bear thing.

I can't imagine a photo that could sum up the entire fair more than this one.

David says much of Warsaw is new and modern. We both like the kitty!

Trabant

David sent this Trabant post card. Trabant? What's a Trabant? Well, I figured it was a type of car. David knows everything about cars and all models -- especially fin cars of the late 1950's.

"Our tower should look like this!"

I got a couple of post cards from David while he was in Berlin. The futuristic radio tower in the photo is what he wishes Sutro Tower looked more like. Me too.

Available in The Castro

I couldn't resist snapping this photo while shopping at Cala in The Castro. Is it any wonder that store does so well?
